Our Pollinator Garden Team

The SisQ Bee Club's Polly Garden Team consists of a highly motivated group of Beekeepers and community members who have a desire to build something larger than themselves; something that serves the community and delivers education about the importance of pollinators and the environment in which they thrive.

The Pollinator Garden, located on the grounds of the Siskiyou Golden Fair, consists of a 40’ x 60’ plot between the armory and the floral building. The project is currently underway and will provide refuge, food, and housing for pollinators, build awareness about the relationship of pollinators to food success, expand learning opportunities for school-aged children, educate fair-goers and seasonal visitors about honey bees, other pollinators, and native plant landscapes. It also enhances the existing space within the fairgrounds.

Donate to the SisQ Bee Club Pollinator Garden or sponsor the SisQ Bee Club!

To launch this exciting, new endeavor the 2024 donations will go directly to the Pollinator Garden, unless otherwise indicated. Either way, your dollars are valued and spent wisely. Donating to a Club like the SisQ Bee Club enhances membership growth and supports professional programs that would not otherwise be possible. The Club members fundraise all year, but each year it takes more funding to accomplish the level of community education that is so important to the mission of “Promoting and Practicing the Art of Beekeeping.” Sponsorship provides a community backbone that promotes the circulation of philanthropic dollars. In our appreciation, we showcase the sponsor’s logo and business web address on our annual calendar, list it on our website, and have a Sponsor Poster at all our events.
